Last year, Baltimore Symphony Orchestra violinist Ellen Pendleton Troyer recorded an audio interview with conductor Roberto Abbado for the BSO website. After a few minutes of chatting--during which he recounted almost becoming a Boeing engineer--Troyer inadvertently called him "Claudio," the name of his famous uncle, also a conductor.
